ED-842 Aluminium and Magnesium Alloy
Description：
ED-842 is a quality, water soluble, die casting lubricant formulated for the production of bright, clean parts in the casting of magnesium and aluminum alloys. ED-842 mixes well in both soft and hard water. It is used in fully automatic and hand-held spray systems. ED-842 will neither clog spray nozzles, nor leave heavy waxy build up on dies. Cast parts can be painted or plated without concern for lack of adhesion.
Application：
The primary applications of ED-842 is as a water based release agent for molded or cast parts that will be required to undergo subsequent operations such as bonding or painting.

Dilution Ratio and Usage
For normal aluminum or magnesium die casting, dilute ED-842 with 100 parts of water.
For no pressure feed spray or when manually applied, a lower dilution is recommended.
